Boat Transportation

After we talk more about safety and measurement students will be making a boat hull design to try and determine theh best way to go across water.  I'm deciding if I wish to go for cargo hauling or for speed.  Students are encouraged to examine the sailboat I own behind the lab in the parking lot.  It does not have the sail on it but you can clearly see the hull design.

  or they may want to design a hull like the town's john boat recently purchased for lake Arrowhead.
